Description

This bronze mountain lion sculpture captures the quiet intensity of North America’s great cat. In Mountain Lion Looking Down Sculpture, Eric Thorsen portrays a cougar stretched along a ledge, one forepaw draped over the edge as it peers intently at something below, its long tail curling up behind it. The lean, powerful body, relaxed shoulders, and focused gaze capture the patience of a mountain lion watching from above, sculpted with the anatomical accuracy and texture that define Thorsen’s wildlife work.

At 11 inches long, this piece suits a desk, mantel, bookshelf, or collection. It is available in two finishes: a classic bronze patina (standard) and a realistic finish that captures the cougar’s natural tawny coloring. The tall wood display block shown in the photos is optional. Please contact the gallery for details.
