Description

This bronze mountain lion sculpture captures the stillness of a cougar on watch. In Mountain Lion Watching Sculpture, Eric Thorsen portrays a mountain lion crouched low along a ledge, forepaws stretched out in front, ears forward and eyes fixed on something in the distance, its long tail curling up behind it. The lean, muscular body and alert gaze capture the patience of a hunter waiting for the right moment, sculpted with the anatomical accuracy and texture that define Thorsen’s wildlife work.

At approximately 12 inches long, this piece suits a desk, mantel, bookshelf, or collection. It is available in two finishes: a classic bronze patina (standard) and a realistic finish that captures the cougar’s natural tawny coloring, as shown in the photo.
