Description

Octopus Pillar is a hand-colored bronze octopus sculpture by Eric Thorsen, with an octopus curled atop an ancient column covered in coral growth.

About This Bronze Octopus Sculpture

The piece blends sea life and antiquity, as if the octopus has claimed a ruin on the ocean floor. Hand coloring brings out the coral and the octopus against the weathered column, making it a striking conversation piece for a coastal home, study or office.

Bronze, hand colored

Bronze is one of the most durable materials in fine art, so a well-cared-for sculpture can be enjoyed for generations and passed down as a family heirloom.
