Eagle’s View
$1,500.00
Small bronze sculpture of an American Bald Eagle, soaring. Mounted to a walnut base. Available in standard bronze or colored (realistic) finish. A great gift for an Eagle Scout award recipient. Made by Eric Thorsen, Bigfork, MT, located in Northwest Montana.
Description
Eagle’s View captures an American bald eagle at the top of its arc, wings fully extended and banking into the wind as it scans the ground below. Eric Thorsen sculpted every layer of feathering, from the broad primaries spread like fingers at the wingtips to the fanned white tail, so the bird appears to hang weightlessly above its hand-finished walnut base.
The piece is offered in two finishes: a standard bronze patina that highlights the sculpted form, or a colored (realistic) finish with a dark body, white head and tail, and golden beak true to the living bird.
A meaningful Eagle Scout gift. Few symbols speak to achievement, integrity, and perseverance like the soaring eagle. Eagle’s View makes a lasting gift for an Eagle Scout award recipient, a keepsake for a desk or shelf that honors years of service, leadership, and hard work. Shown here with a walnut base engraved “Eagle Scout.”
