Description

Wallowing Bison is a wallowing bison sculpture in bronze by Eric Thorsen, showing a bison rolling on its side in the dust, a familiar sight on the open prairie.

Wallowing Bison Sculpture Details

Bison wallow to shed loose fur, ward off biting insects and mark territory, leaving shallow dusty bowls across the grasslands. Thorsen captures that playful, unguarded moment in bronze.

Mounted on a walnut base with a nameplate, ready to display on a desk, shelf or mantel.

Bronze is one of the most durable materials in fine art, so a well-cared-for sculpture can be enjoyed for generations and passed down as a family heirloom. Eric Thorsen Gallery in Bigfork, Montana, specializes in bronze wildlife sculpture of North American animals.
