Description

Bachelors is a bronze bison bas-relief panel by Eric Thorsen featuring three bison bulls.

About This Bison Bas-Relief Panel

Outside the breeding season, mature bulls often travel together in small bachelor groups, apart from the cows and calves. Thorsen captures three of these bulls in relief, their heavy heads and shoulder humps layered across the panel. At nearly 40 inches long, it works well on a mantel, shelf or console.

Bronze is one of the most durable materials in fine art, so a well-cared-for sculpture can be enjoyed for generations and passed down as a family heirloom.
