Family – Life Size brings Eric Thorsen’s celebration of the parent-child bond to monumental scale. Standing six feet tall, two soaring, sinuous forms rise from a shared base and arc toward one another, each crowned with a gleaming bronze sphere. Held in the curve between them, a smaller sphere rests safely in their embrace, a timeless image of protection, connection, and love.

At this scale the sculpture’s flowing lines become an experience to walk around and live with. Light slides across the polished, dark bronze surface and catches the warm copper tones beneath, changing with the time of day and the angle of view. Family – Life Size makes a commanding centerpiece for a garden, courtyard, or entryway, and a meaningful landmark for hospitals, children’s centers, churches, parks, and other public spaces dedicated to families.
